You can count on me to remain just as resolute, principled, and firm.
I will be humbled to represent the members from Saint John Region as an elected Councillor at APEGNB.
Some of the highlights of my previous volunteer experience include:

Recipient of Professional Engineers of Ontario' 15-Year Volunteer Award (2023)
Lieutenant-Governor Appointee to PEO Council (2019)
Fellow of Engineers Canada Awardee (2017)
Georgian Bay Chapter Chair (2013–2015)
Professional Engineers of Ontario Volunteer (2007–Present)
"A PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION, RUN BY PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS"
MY KEY FOCUS AREAS
Open and Transparent Public Meetings – All APEGNB policy discussions should be open to all members and volunteers to listen to and contribute.
More Member Involvement in APEGNB Council – I will uphold the democratic founding principles of APEGNB. Members deserve a voice in important matters. For example, bylaw amendments should always be subject to a members' referendum.
Member-Centric Profession – I will ensure that our profession remains guided by the expertise and stewardship of its members. This profession belongs to us, the Professional Engineers, who understand public safety and interest, and not to external lawyers and so-called "experts".
Emerging Engineering Disciplines – During my time on the PEO council, I successfully prioritized the recognition of new engineering disciplines on the PEO Council Work Plan. To ensure engineers' relevance in the 21st century, I would like to use my PEO council experience at APEGNB to enable the future Council work on accelerating the recognition of the emerging disciplines.
Support Entrepreneurs – APEGNB's traditional licensure model does not work well for these innovators. Therefore, we must find new ways to bring entrepreneurs into the profession.
Engage governments – APEGNB must engage with the Province of New Brunswick to develop a science and technology roadmap to promote engineering innovation and a highly skilled workforce.
Unite the Profession – We need greater collaboration with our sister professionals associations from the maritime provinces and all the learned societies to create a practical, lean, and contemporary regulatory framework.
